Let's talk wedding shoes!

I'm am doing the same thing! Wearing heels for pictures/detail shots and sandals for running around.

I'm also doing the same thing wearing heels for ceremony and pics then changing into sho converse for the reception I like to dance a lot

Jessica Simpson had some awesome shoes on clearance online a while back. They are only about a 2.5 inch heel so I think that's what I'll wear the entire day.

I went with the Badgley. Purchased two pair and haven't yet decided which ones I'll wear.

I got Betsy Johnson flats! Glad I did because now I'm pregnant and probably wouldn't survive the night in heels.

My wedding shoes!! I got them at Macy's. They are a gold/silver metallic which is perfect for my dress. They compliment my feet very well. When I first tried these on, I just knew these were "the shoes!" Because they were very easy and comfortable to walk in

Just curious- Will you be lifting up your dress to show off the heels for the ceremony and pictures or does it just make you feel more dressed up to have them on? If nobody is going to see them then I really don't see the point. FH loves the fact that he is quite a bit taller than me so I went with a 1" heel. I'll probably have no shoes on by the time dinner starts. Nobody is going to be able to see my feet.

Yes, I plan on doing some lifting of my dress. I have a hard time walking in floor length gowns even when altered because I have cerebral palsy so my gate is off and my foot gets caught under my dress. I also don't wear heels very often and feel this is the perfect occasion to do so. But I will be changing into flats after the ceremony.

I am doing wedges because I will be walking in grass and I am afraid with heels it would be difficult walking down the aisle.

@FutureMrs.Eckley- thank you for addressing my question. I was honestly curious. If I thought my feet would show I would definitely be wearing some sassy heels.

I originally looked at Badgley Mischka, but didn't love their lower heeled shoes (and didn't want to subject myself to the pain), so I ultimately ordered from Shoe of Prey to get something that had a height I was comfortable wearing.

My ceremony shoes are these gorgeous Betsey Johnson shoes.
