Letterpressed Invites

Marissa, on June 5, 2019 at 9:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

So, I guess this may be asking a lot... but has anyone had luck finding letterpressed invitations that aren't an arm and a leg? Yes, you pay for quality. But one site I tried was charging $400 for 25 invites. That just seems... outrageous to me. I don't want to pay $600 for invites when I could spend that elsewhere in the budget on things I care more about. But maybe I'm naive about the cost going into letterpressed invites. Before I give up that dream, though, I'd love to hear if anyone has found affordable ones online.

You can try Invitations By Dawn. I got my invites from their cheaper sister company, Ann's Bridal Bargain, and that quality was great. I don't think they have letter press, but Invitations by Dawn does.

I didn’t have letterpress invites I had engraved but what I found is lower quantity is going to be more expensive. I paid $11 per invitation for engraved because I ordered 150 of them.

This article gives a great primer on what it is, how the technique is applied and why it's so costly. I didn't know what it was, so I figured I'd do some research just for my own knowledge. Seems like the kind of thing that probably warrants the cost.

It’s always good if you can find a site with a promo code . I got letterpress invitations. It ended up being $475 for 75 invites on extra thick paper including addressed and return addressed envelopes. I went through Mospens studio , they are a small company and very easy to work with. They also have promo codes available so I would check on their site. Letterpress is always going to cost more but I think it is 100% worth it.

Definitely check out "Invitations by Dawn". I had a 50% off coupon for my purchase, but right now they are offering 40%. Mine were letter pressed and with thermography, and shimmer paper. Very great quality, excellent customer service as well. I saved over half of the price quoted to me at a local card store.

Came to about 150 for 75 invites, 75 rsvp cards, inner envelope liners, return address for RSVP cards, a proof for both the invite and rsvp card and shipping.
