Letting your groom see your before the ceremony?

Are there or were there any brides that let/will let their groom see them before the ceremony? Was it agreed that both of you would see each other? Did it happen by an accident? Would love to know what you guys think about letting the groom seeing you before the actual ceremony.

I want to get pics out of the way before the ceremony so we can go straight to the reception. So by definition, he’ll be getting a first look. Whether we’ll do a special sneak off moment just for us, I don’t know yet.

Were not doing a first look but were staying together the night before and having breakfast together before we go our separate ways to get ready. I am not superstitious at all or anything like that. Were just gonna do what we wanna do.
