What should I do about my mother's side of the family? Do I invite them and expect drama or do I not invite them and expect a bigger fit than if I do invite them? I'm torn

I might need more details. I mean. I wouldn't invite anyone who is homophobic, racist or intolerant. That's just me. I don't care who they are.
Sorry if your mom's side are giving you potential problems.

Would they actually come to the wedding just to cause drama? I would hope they would just not attend if they didn't agree with it. At least if you invite them and they choose not to come, the issue isn't yours. But if they will cause drama, then they aren't really your family in their hearts to begin with.. pass on them.
