I finally found a venue that I am IN LOVE with but as I was reading their FAQ's I found this:
(1) Alcohol can only be served by a properly licensed bartender.
(2) No alcohol can be brought in by guests (again, see rule # 1); although you as the event organizer can bring your own alcohol. But whatever alcohol is brought on the premises must be served by a licensed bartender.
(3) You must carry event liability insurance, which usually runs about $150 with major wedding insurance companies; WedSure, Markel or WedSafe.
(4) Each additional vendor (caterer, bartender, etc) must carry its own liability insurance
One thing I really liked about them was that we could bring in our own food and drinks. I'm not sure if all the things listed are going to be hard to obtain. Does anyone have experience or advice on this or know where to get a licensed bartender? The venue is called Ever After Farms in Mims FL.
