We are trying to send online invitations to our guests. But we want to be able to limit number of people per guests. So, some families can bring 2 people, some can bring 4 people (depending on how close they are to us).

Any idea who allows that?

The Knot allows you to turn off guests' permission to enter their own names, and they can only RSVP for the names you designate. So you can put in exactly who is invited and they can check yes or no for each person, but they can't add more.
