Linens - Matching or Different Colored Napkins?

What are your wedding colors?

I've always loved the look of colored napkins on a white table!

@MzRosaLu, our colors are cream/ivory, pink, green and gold. I could do gold napkins because we will already have so much green because of our setting...

Gold would be really pretty. Or pink.

@Breanna, I'm thinking gold would be good too, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't look weird lol. Our centerpieces will have gold on them as well, so I think (I hope!) that will look good

Our tablecloths with be ivory too. I vote 'pop' of color. Mine will be purple like my BMs and the flowers/centerpieces and the men's ties.

I'd do a different color napkin - what are your wedding colors? If you have ivory napkins on an ivory table linen the napkins might be really hard for your guests to see.

Our table linens are light gray and our napkins will be navy blue. We did a couple of table mock ups when we met with the rental company and we found that if we had napkins that are the same color as the table linens, the napkins get lost because they blend in. Our colors are navy blue and silver, so that's why we went with blue napkins. We also rented cobalt blue glass plates, so the gray table linens help break it up a bit.

Personally, I don't like colored naps on a light table cloth; its' too many little pops of colors. I'd do ivory TC's, ivory naps with ribbon ties in you colors

Thanks everyone! Another question - did you get more napkins than you had guests just in case you need extra?

Hmm consider if you are having a ton if colour from other sources and if you need that extra colour
