Do weddings bands typically bring lighting with them as part of their set? We were originally going to rent up lighting but the venue won’t allow it. The reception room isn’t very big anyway so some basic strobe lighting would be fine.

Not sure about bands, but our DJ package comes with uplighting. I believe this is common.

Hi Amanda! I'd just ask!! Some may include lighting as part of their stage set-up, and others might charge for this as an additional service - but at the very least they should be able to recommend something!

Depends on the band. Some include basic lighting, others will offer this as an additional service. It should definitely be on your list of questions for that vendor.

Definitely ask. Ours didn’t. We needed to provide stage risers & lighting.
