Living Situation: Modern or Traditional?

Modern - we have lived together for almost 4 years and have a sweet little old lady cat. We dont have joint accounts though because that would have screwed up financial aid for her vet school and we really need all we can get.

I was raised so traditional, and wanted to be traditional waiting to live together until at least a little before the wedding, but FH is super modern in regards to this and thinks living together (before engagement) is a must. We compromised and got engaged and then i moved in. My issue with living together first was that then a wedding seems like just a formality as i know two couples who owned houses together first and their wedding only felt like a party. To me i want a wedding to be a big deal, but now that we live together i understand how it is more logical to live together sometimes.

Modern. My FH's parents invited me to move in with them after 6 months of dating to help me start saving money (since my current situation at the time wasn't the greatest) and then after that we ended up moving out to get our own apt.

Modern he already had a house I moved in after 2 and a half years of dating and he proposed a year later

Modern: Had a long distance relationship seeing each other almost every weekend. Then we had a baby. After the baby was born I moved to the state he lives in and we got a place together. Then we got engaged. Next step after the wedding is buying a house.

We live together, but his mom is a real estate agent so that's why we got our condo so cheap (his mom gave him a discount on the condition he has at least one other person living with him, so he asked me)

Modern. We both already owned houses so it made merging things difficult. We were engaged after 4 months of dating. That is also about the time we moved into together. We were married 4 months after that. He already had a pet. I don't claim the dog though. We definitely discussed finances early on.

Modern! been together for 4 years lived together for 2, he's a much better roommate then some of the girls I've had to live with HAHA

We got engaged on our 6th anniversary and have been living together for about 5 years. We also have two kids together and bought a house together about a year ago.

Modern. We moved after dating for 3 months. I was already looking for homes prior so I ended purchasing a home. Got a new puppy right after we moved in.

Definitely modern! we were only dating 6 months before we got engaged and had pretty much already started living together. we discuss finances and everything else. we have a joint banking account to save for stuff together.
