Llamas at a wedding?

Nicole, on April 28, 2017 at 10:34 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 34

I came across this article that said inviting llamas instead of people to your wedding is becoming a new "trend." What on earth is wrong with people?

I think it's really funny but I doubt it would be a popular thing. Llamas spit...no thanks

My friend just posted an article about being able to rent llamas to be in your wedding party.... I don't get it and do not understand how people do not realize these things spit and bite.

Cute!! All of the pictures seem to be of alpacas though.

Llamas and alpacas are cute, but typically are complete jerks. I do enjoy their bow ties though haha

Honestly considering it now. It would amuse the hell out of me and I wouldn't have to put up with all the family drama.

What do you mean?! I'm having llamas at my wedding, no alpacas though.

All I can think of is Carl from Jimmy Neutron being the only human guest if llamas are invited!

Llamas spit and bite, and I personally feel as though having animals in your wedding (unless it's your own pet) can be a form of animal abuse. So I just don't agree with this

    I'd be so into this.

ETA I just read your comment about it being animal abuse. Not into that, but do like thinking about llamas hanging out with me at my wedding. I live off of a farm though, so it would feel like home haha

@NerdBride yeah, you never know, you could have that drunk asshole guest who thinks it's acceptable to tease the llama or, even worse, try to ride one. Most of the time animals and intoxicated people just don't mix well

In fairness, I met a llama once. He was definitely better than people...

Everyday I think I've seen it all, and everyday I'm proven wrong.

Take it from the source. The same site's "Today's Must Read" hails the designer of the Pizza Inspired Prom Gown (a yellow/orange creation featuring plenty of bowling ball sized, reddish brown circles -- to represent pepperoni -- interspersed with green crescent moon shaped spices, little brown circles that might be sausage, and all of this elegance is supported by a thick, puffy hem that resembles a pizza crust), a daily video that explains, "Why Women DGAF if You Say You Like the 'Natural Look' on Them", an article that shares the ground breaking news that the blanket relieves stress as you sleep, and other "can't live without" contributions with titles like "Romantic Dinner Reservations at Taco Bell's Test Kitchen Will Make You Swoon", "The Unicorn Trend Won't Change the Fact that Our World is Garbage", "New Video Finally Reveals What the iPhone 8 Would Look Like in Shiny White", "Ten Struggles Commuter Barbie Knows All Too Well About Every Woman's Commute", "Kourtney Kardashian Posts Racy Vacation Pics, Proves She Really DGAF", "11 Things Red Wine Drinkers Understand That White Wine Lovers Never Will", and "Demi Lovato Got a Giant New Lion Tattoo and Fans are Calling Her Out on It". Spellbinding stuff, I'm sure.

However, in all fairness, the llama article did point out that inviting llamas to your wedding is acceptable if you hate humans...and the llamas wear bow ties.
