We looked into the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis. It was affordable and includes a lot aside from catering.

Plus it's right on the water and gorgeous!

So my suggestion for people looking for venues is to utilize the WeddingWire vendor directory! There are a bunch of different options and venue types in the directory. If you don't want a hotel, I'd suggest looking into mansions or historic venues, which, if you're in the area I think you are, there are a few of those.

Historic venues in Maryland

Can you give a more specific area in Maryland you're looking in? I grew up in Maryland, and I can't tell what area you're in with the directions you've given. Are you looking for a venue somewhere up in the Carroll/Frederick County area?

I have used the directory but there are so many to choose and look through. I was hoping someone had a good experience that I would be able to go off of. I am right on the Montgomery county and Frederick county. Near Hyattsville

Hey Kirsten maybe check out the "The Villa" or "Celebrations at the Bay" they are the same company. I am getting married at the villa its in Silver Spring basically but we got a great price and it was all inclusive basically - they do food, cake, minimal decor and have great spaces.
