Locking down a photographer

Hi everyone!
I am looking for some advice or tips that helped you narrow down and find your perfect photographer.

I have been looking at local photographers for over 3 months and just when i thought I found a good company to work with I checked out their additional photos and they were all crooked and looking like a mess! I am so distraught!! I hate that I have spent so much time researching and have nothing to prove it.

So... here is where you can come in! Do you have any tips or suggestions on how to find a company you would be happy with?

I have done bridal expos, referrals from the venue and word of mouth and it’s not getting me very far.

Thanks in advance!! Hoping to get my second wind of searching soon.

I’m not sure if you utilized the WeddingWire vendor directory in your first round of searching, if not, you should definitely check it out
On the vendor directory, you can search for photographer in your location, and filter by price, photographer style and service.
