Hi all,

We are getting married on a Sunday (June 13, 2021) and just found out that someone booked the venue for June 12. Of course, this changes some things for us. We'll have our rehearsal walk-through at 11:00AM and a rehearsal luncheon at 12:15.

Since we'll have the rest of the evening open, I am treating the ladies to a spa day. Around how long do rehearsal dinners last? I wasn't quite sure, but I assumed no more than two hours? If I scheduled our spa appointment for 3pm, that should work — right? The spa is about thirty minutes from the venue.

The rehearsal luncheon likely wouldn't last more than two or three hours (depending on the formality of the event and how long everyone socializes for). If the luncheon started at 12:15, I think 3pm would be a great time for the spa appointment!

That should be enough time, but I'd give yourselves an extra 30min just in case some guests linger after the rehearsal dinner is scheduled to end! I know with our families, people linger long after the end time lol, so I always try to give myself at least 30 extra minutes.

I just re-read your post, and totally missed seeing that the spa is 30 minutes away from where you are doing the lunch! I would delay the appointment by at least 15-30 minutes (3:15 or 3:30) to give yourself more time to get there in case lunch runs long. Better to have more than enough time, rather than being rushed to get there.

I would opt for 330 or 4 to allow time for possible traffic and lingering guests.
