Logistics/transportation help!

My ceremony and reception are 25 minutes apart from each other. I’m struggling to figure out logistics regarding getting ready and transportation for bridal party. I would prefer to stay at a hotel closer to my Ceremony and have the bridal party and parents meet at that hotel as a pickup spot for the limo to take us to the ceremony site 5 minutes away then take us all to the reception site after photos. Does the bridal party usually figure out their own transportation back to wherever they are staying after the reception? I’m not pressed that everyone has to stay in the same hotel as me as long as they show up at the hotel near the ceremony as the requested time to begin hair and makeup prep. Thoughts? How does everyone navigate 2 separate venues and transportation with a large bridal party ????

I have a small bridal party but almost everyone lives or is staying 30 minutes or less from the reception venue. I am driving all of my bridesmaids to the morning festivities (hair/nails/etc) and then the party bus will take us from the reception site (we are using the dressing rooms to get dressed) to to the ceremony and back to the hall. Getting to hotels/home is up to them. Since one has a long drive home the next day and may not stay as long, they all agreed to do what was best for them.

We all stayed in the same hotel, and we paid for all transportation for guests (and bridal party). I guess if the girls knew in advance, that seems fine. I'd assume the bridesmaids would want to stay in the same hotel as you though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone ! I’m opening up a couple room blocks as to not restrict people to stay in a hotel that wouldn’t be financially feasible for them. I’d prefer to stay at a fancier hotel but I’d prefer my bridal party choose what’s best for their finances hence why we all might be lodging in diffeeenr spaces

If you BMs are not staying in the same hotel as you, I would offer to pay for transportation to collect them from where they are staying to get them to your hotel for a specific time. They may prefer to drive themselves there but that will totally depend on whether it suits them to leave their car at this location.
