Hi fellow brides! I'm getting married next year, and my MIL unfortunately has health issues that prevent her from physically being at our wedding ☹️. We plan on having her on a Zoom/Facetime for the ceremony, but any other ideas for how to make her feel included? And also very important: for my FH to feel her presence?

Maybe send her flowers in the theme of the wedding and a nice meal delivered to her?

That's so hard sorry she can't make it but how lovely of you to find ways to include her. He can add something of hers to his boutnaire or use her fave flower. At the cocktail hour you can serve her fave drink, appetizer, or dessert in her honor . I d definitely send her a corsage and see if you can have some cake and nice dinner sent to her. At the reception you can have her photo on display. Wishing her and you all the best.

Depending on your setup, you might also be able to have her pre-record a toast and play it at the reception.
