We are aiming for short enough to have a meaningful ceremony so that we can get to enjoying our guests and food!

It was pretty short, about 15 minutes. It felt faster

Short. Shouldn't be more than 20 minutes.

The most exciting part about the whole thing for us is the ceremony and not the party or rest. We will have a short ceremony less than 30 min. And I can't wait to be center of attention and see all that love us smiling up at us. I can't wait to walk up the isle and see him there waiting for me! I'm so excited about the ceremony.

I so agree with you. You need to savor the moment. 30 minutes is perfect.

Our ceremony was on the shorter side, well not as long as some I've been to but not super short either. It was about half an hour long and that felt like the perfect length! We did all the traditional things, had a few weddings, sang a song, and said our vows. It was just long enough to make it really meaningful and personalized to us, but not so long our guests lost interest.

Catholic wedding, so it will be long. Bridal party will have to learn how to not faint lol

We're doing a short-ish ceremony. One big reason is that I have delicate health and sometimes experience faintness if standing for long periods of time (this effect is vastly multiplied if I'm stressed or haven't eaten), and I really don't want to pass out during the wedding! Also, I don't want the ceremony to feel boring and bloated.

Plus, more time for the reception!

Oh goodness! Make sure you pack your emergency bag with LOTS of snacks. Trust me, they'll act like they aren't hungry but they really need to eat!

Oh, and don't lock your knees!

That will definitely be happening lol!! Yes, locked knees are a no-no for sure, and if feeling faint just do some ole calf raises! Smiley catface

Our wedding was short and sweet - roughly 20 minutes (maybe more/less but I didn't have a timer going while we were up there lol)

Personally, this was perfect for us but the thought process wasn't "oh let's make this quick" but we including everything we wanted and it just happened to work out that way - as a non-religious ceremony we did not have any of the traditional religious elements that could take additional time and while we did not write our own vows to each other, we did personalize the vows that we repeated to our officiant which both could have contributed to ceremony time. We included one reading but did not do a unity candle/rope/sand/etc.

In my head, it'll be 15-20 min. But I haven't worked out the logistical timing of the program yet.

Not very short, about 30-45 minutes because I want a few songs from my friends (who are professional singers) and readings.
