How seriously do you plan on celebrating? 😉🍾 Will your wedding reception be more of a sprint or a late night marathon?? Will your reception be long or shot? How many hours long?? Long!!! Well at least I'm in favor of longer receptions. Your wedding day is the one day it's all about you and everyone is there to celebrate your marriage. It's so exciting and having a longer reception gives you more time to spend with your loved ones and celebrate. Ours was about 5 hours long.

I think ours will be on the shorter side. ceremony at 3:30, cocktail from 4-5 and reception from 5-8.

Average. We'll be having 2 receptions. One in Mexico and the other at home.

We have our DJ booked for 5 hours. If we have a little extra money and decide we want to go longer we'll add an hour.

Um, considering what I'm reading in here, mine will be short. I love them all, but no. 3.5 hours is what I'm looking at.

I've been to both as a guest and always had more fun at the longer receptions (6+ hrs). There's more time to dance, socialize, eat, etc, without feeling rushed.

Short for french standards. We started at 20:00 and finished at 3:30. Normally receptions here start at 5-6 and the party finishes at 5-6.
