If you look on Etsy there are some to buy that are simple but still very pretty. It is really hard to find them under your price point, but they are there. This seller caught my eye (I've been looking for one that won't break the bank too), so maybe you'll find something by her that you like. Congrats on your engagement! Smiley smile

Can you DIY one? For my cousin's wedding, they asked guests to send in a square of fabric, and someone used the fabric to make a quilt that was used as the top of the Chuppah - I forget what they used for the "legs"...

My decorator is making mine, so unfortunately, I don't have any other good suggestions - sorry!!

Your florist should be able to recommend one, or might even supply one. You could ask your venue if there's a wedding with a chuppah the night before yours - if so, you can try to split the cost of the rental with the other couple and just have the owner of the chuppah leave it up for 2 nights instead of 1.

Have you already checked WeddingWire's vendor list? You might find something in your local area that way. Alternatively, we rent hand-held huppahs for less than $300 and ship them across the U.S.

I would suggest Field of Flowers. If they have one available they will allow you to rent it.

We rented poles from http://www.huppahs.com/huppah-rentals/ and instead of having people hold them we're putting pvc pipe into flower pots and filling them with cement and using a talis as the canopy.

    Hello Great idea!!

I think this is a project you can Diy if your craft eeee lol Smiley smile

The Dollar store has these really nice and thick bamboo sticks. Hobby lobby has the pillars that are small, med, or large. You can turn the pillar upside down to the side with the hole on the bottom and place sand or rocks in the bottom to hold bamboo sticks together. Find some beautiful filler flowers to cover the hole. Wisteria flowers are a nice touch along with your ceremony flowers. Any who... There are always fabric sales at Joann's and Hobby Lobby. Have them cut the fabric to suite needed measurements and a tie on and wala!!!! Save some money Smiley smile I bet If you shop sale items and use coupons you can do this your self for within $100.00 Weddings are way to expensive so if you have the time go for it good luck!!!
