Looking for a different type of wedding dress

Dulcena, on January 14, 2020 at 8:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3

I got engaged in October 2019, my wedding is September 2020. Ever since then everyone is asking me have you picked your dress yet????? I don't want a traditional dress nor do I have $$$$ to spend on a dress. I want something faery, boho, airy, tattered layers or ruching, romantic, maybe even boho. I really don't want to spend over 1000 as the wedding is way more than we expected it to be. But I am willing to go up to 2000 to find the perfect dress. My first wedding I did not have the dress of my dreams, this time I will! I have searched bridal websites and etsy. I did find 2 dresses I like on etsy but I am scared to order a dress I can't try on first. What if the style is all wrong on me? You know how dresses are beautiful on the hanger then you try it on and go YUCK! Both the dresses I am looking at are made in another country on top of it. Has anyone ordered a wedding dress from etsy? Are there dress sites I can look at that carry these things? I would love some websites if you do know of any. Thanks

Have you tried Azazie? They have super affordable wedding dresses in so many different styles. You can order a sample dress to try on at home for $15 each (includes shipping both ways). I ordered my dress from Azazie and took advantage of their FREE custom sizing and it fits me perfectly! I’m much happier with my dress than the ones I found in bridal shops that were way more expensive.

Check out Saldana Vintage! I believe they have an online website and an Etsy store. Very boho and I believe all of them are under $1,000. You can also give them your measurements so it's custom. I am totally with you in being scared of ordering something online without trying, but it think it's often worth it! What I would recommend is going to a local bridal shop to try on similar styles to what you like online. If the dresses are a similar shape, it should give you a good idea of how it will fit. Good luck!
