Looking for my tribe... small, non-traditional, small budget weddings.

I feel so out of place in most of these forums. I'm looking for my tribe to discuss planning ideas. I'm not so concerned about typical wedding things or what the majority considers the right way to do things. I feel like you know your own friends and family and my what is acceptable in your circle....
I feel so out of place in most of these forums. I'm looking for my tribe to discuss planning ideas. I'm not so concerned about typical wedding things or what the majority considers the right way to do things. I feel like you know your own friends and family and my what is acceptable in your circle. This is a second marriage. We're in our 40s. We're planning something small, outdoors, with Pagan elements... Less than 50 guests... extremely small budget.


Anyone in the same mindset and want to share ideas? Feel free to say hello!

    Here is the next thought. We decided not to trust the weather and the massive hill to get to the outdoor cathedral and we plan to have the ceremony in front of that fireplace. Originally, we were just thinking Fall colors (which would go fine with the green tables and benches in there), but now we have thought about doing more of a moon/stars thing because we both absolutely adore the moon....not so matchy with the green tables and benches though.

    Also, we decided on a dark purple/burnt Orange/Dark Green color scheme with hints of Halloween. If I were to wear something like this, what could he and the boys wear? Nothing overly formal. The kids will be 17, a month away from 17 and 13.

    Don’t feel out of place, it’s all love here. I will be 34 in a couple days and this will be my first marriage . I am overall and introverted individual . I will be having a micro wedding as well. Originally it was going to be an outdoor wedding ,however hotels have packages for small groups. I don’t want to deal with several venders as that would be hella stressful . We be having a hotel wedding . Congrats to you and your FH and happy planning!!! Have fun with it. 💕
