Looking for vintage-looking glass bottles in bulk

Lauren, on September 13, 2011 at 2:20 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7

I'm looking for a site that sells clear glass beverage bottles. I'd love for them to be between 12 and 16 ounces, something easy to drink out of and pretty. I need about 350 or so (it is a big wedding). If you have any ideas, please let me know!! Smiley smile

Hmm, you can try Etsy.com, Amazon.com, Ebay.com (be careful), saveoncrafts.com, and I would also go to antiques or thrift stores and shop around. I know many that have found great deals for vintage glass bottles in antiques and I've seen a lot in such shops as well. Good luck!

You could go to an Indian store that sells "Indian sodas" and ask for their empty glass bottles. The drinks themselves usually sell for a $1/1.50. Are you ok with cleaning them yourselves?

--The caps might be gone but maybe you can work something out.

--You can also just a bulk deal and drink all that soda!

    Good luck!

Www.save-on-crafts.com has great deals. But watch out for shipping... with things like that expect to pay about the same for shipping as you do for the glasses. You might be better off finding somewhere local to get something like that.

P.S. I'm not sure what your theme is, but mason jars are about as vintage-y as you can get, and you can pick those up by the dozen at Walmart for about $10 per dozen. That's what I plan to do.

    What about a flea market?

You'd have to clean them yourself.

I was at a flea market about a month ago and there were so many vintage-y looking jars I almost switched up centerpieces right then and there.

I'm doing the same thing Charlotte! Even cheaper than renting.

I actually went to the flea market a few weeks in a row and found 100 bottles for 50.00 along with vintage items (cameras, old ironing boards, ice crushers, etc... old books). We are tagging the bottles with the guests names and table numbers.
