Looks like an angel....but...

Phylicia, on September 21, 2016 at 11:29 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 18

I'm in bed and reading all your lovely post... I tend to stay up later than FH because I don't have to wake up at 4am like he does! Or maybe I stay up because I get sucked in to this ww app...eh.. either way...I just thought I'd create this post and see how many can relate..

I love FH so much... I roll over and look at him while he is asleep (as he would say--being a creeper) and think, gosh how handsome is he!? I cant wait to marry him....... BUT IF HE DOESNT STOP THE LOUD FREEEEAKIN SNORING THAT COULD WAKE THE NEIGHBORS, I think I might end up killing him before our wedding!!! (Kidding. . . . kinda)

I'll own up to it, I often accidentally on purpose throw a leg or arm on him to move him a bit to stop the snoring..

Oh FH..love him no matter what, so I'll deal with it..But really, he's a hard worker so I don't complain to him about it. I appreciate all he does, god knows I couldn't do a quarter of what he does!!

Shout out to all the hard workin', loud snorin' FH/DH out there!!!!

Lol. Have you have him tried different pillows? Nasal strips help too.

I do the same thing! My signature is internationally rolling over or just shaking him (if I can lol). But then when I'm out of town I scroll through pictures of him sleeping haha

Get ear plugs and get future hubby to a Dr. He could suffer sleep apnea and he should get checked out.

Different pillows, yes. He said he tried the nose strips before and they "don't do crap" according to him lol..overall, he's very healthy.. but if it gets any worse, I work with his PCP , so there's a chance I might mention snoring to him for his next physical lol.. he didn't believe me that he snored.. but then he had drill and everyone said the next morning "Sgt, you are LOUD!" Lol

DH snores occasionally. I always wake him up and tell him to roll over so he can stop lol. I'm a super light sleeper so I can't just ignore it.

@AnnaRae---FH used to chomp ...he went to the dentist they said he was fine, teeth were good and suggested a mouth guard... he never bought one and now it only happens once in a while.. weird... men are odd creatures lol , at least mine is. @windowschick... cats woke him last night, I told him to sleep in the spare room and that was a big NO, he's super cuddly, so the thought of separate rooms, would kill him..me...I'd be fine either way lol. On call can be rough!!

FH snores so bad that if I am not asleep first or wake up during the night I sleep in the guest bedroom. I have tried ear plugs and they kinda work. FH is going to do a sleep study after the wedding and hopefully get a cpap.

Hahahaha. I'm rolling at this. FH is beside me in bed. (I'm obsessed, too.) And he snores. I typically hit him in the back of budge him to roll over. Whatever works so he stops the snoring. (He doesn't snore all the time, just sometimes, but it's rough) lol.

I'm pretty sure out of the two of us, I'm going to be the loud sleeper. I talk and walk in my sleep and grind my teeth.

The only problem with snoring is if he stops breathing, that's when the Dr is most important otherwise I guess it's just annoying.

I'm super weird and my fh snoring actually puts me to sleep lol

Ok, I have to tell you all this because it's just hilarious. While DH does snore really loud, I'm the one that bothers him in our sleep. I thrash and I mumble. Also, one night I was dreaming about Cold Stone Creamery, for some reason, and in my dream took a big bite of an ice cream cone. Well, that ice cream cone was actually DH's nipple! I woke up, latched on with him screaming, "let go!" He had a black and blue bite mark for weeks. To this day, if I lay my head on his chest and make any weird movements he tells me to get off! I felt so bad but, it's so funny at the same time. Poor guy! I love him to death and I'm lucky he puts up with me.

Have any of you looked into getting mouth guards. Apparently both my aunt and uncle snore a lot. They got mouth guards which properly align their jaw when they sleep so the tongue doesnt roll back and the snoring went away.
