@Mojay, it is possible to loose 20 lbs in 2 months as indicated by others above. It will take lots of discipline. I've done it by reducing carbs and increasing my protein, eating lots of vegetables and exercise. The 'My Fitness Pal' app has been extremely helpful in my weight loss goals.

32 lbs is awesome-- and its even more awesome that you've been able to maintain that weight for that long!

If you want to get a little bit of a jump start, I'd suggest this tea: http://www.amazon.com/Yogi-Egyptian-Licorice-Mint-Bags/dp/B000CMF1A0/ref=pd_bxgy_gro_text_y

It will not help you lose weight per se, but it will help make your digestion quicker so your body isn't holding on to "waste". Its sweet enough on its own that you don't need to add sugar, either.

Eat only lean protein, and TONS of raw fruit and veggies and WATER. I would seriously make sure you are chugging the water and keep a tub of chopped raw veggies in your fridge ready to eat. Mix weight lifting and cardio. 20lbs in 2 months is PROBABLY not going to happen for you unless you literally starve yourself in which case you will lose muscle as well as fat but you can totally lose a considerable amount of weight in that time. I would really focus on the weight lifting so at least if you can't lose all the weight you can be more toned.

I started on my new weightloss on February 19 and weighing today with a total loss of 19.8lbs so far. It is doable and I've lost about 4 pounds a week on average starting at a higher weight. I've done exactly what was said with cutting certains foods out, strict portion control, lots and lots of water with lemon, and excercising 5 days a week, swimming on one of my off days and yoga on the other. It's hard work, but it CAN be done.

It really depends how close you are to your goal weight... if it can be done. Plus, you are doing this to be healthy and feel good.. not to see a low low number. I have lost 5 lbs in 2-3 weeks. Not a ton but I am maintaining my weight loss. I have 3 weeks to go to my wedding and I will be happy with another 5 lb weight loss. I can't expect more than that because I am close to my goal.

I agree with kt-v that 20 pounds in two months is more trouble than it's worth.

my trainer warned me against cutting carbs because your body gets used to not having them. then once you start eating them lots of weight is gained.

how about just eating as healthy as possible, and getting a healthy amount of exercise to be your best? I'd worry more about being healthy and eating well for the wedding rather than getting hung up on a number.

you don't want to be one of those fainting brides do you? Smiley smile

Slimfast and LifeCaps. I just found LifeCaps (they were on the tv show Shark Tank) and ordered them. Takes away all hunger. Google it. Good for quick weight loss; Weight Watchers is really best though.

Or phentermine. Or juice fasting. OR any combination thereof.

I'm appalled at how much I know about bad crash diets. My father is a raw vegan (actually, that might work too) and he'd kill me if he saw this post.

I have lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks by cutting out carbs and sugar. I eat lean protein (6-8 oz per day) and semi lean protein (4-6 oz per day) and fruits/vegetables (4 cups per day combined- no more than 2 cups of fruit though). Lean would be chicken, fish, turkey, pork and semi lean is steak, ground chuck beef, and low fat cheese.

I also get shots of B12 which boost your metabolism and give you energy to supplement not having carbs but even without the shots you'll lose weight. Good luck!

I will definitely start cutting back on my portions and eat lots of vegetables and lean protein. Juicing is great I did it for 4 months and then stop. I guess I really need to get it back together My fitness pal app is wonderful it does help!
