According to the Wedding Report's statistics,

21% of couples are or have postponed to later in 2020.

41.5% are or have moved to 2021.

7.0% are or have cancelled altogether (some likely married but cancelled the full event)

30.5% are trying to hold their current 2020 wedding date.

46% of couples are cutting their budget by an average of 31%

I was a little surprised by these statistics by how optomistic many are. For those that married or will be marrying between March 2019 and December 2021, did you end up cancelling, postponing or carrying on with your wedding?!

We got engaged in July of this year and made next October our desired wedding date. Based on the virus, we decided to have a minimony in April to be legally married and then continue on with our big wedding in October, God willing.

We're considering downsizing but are hoping we won't have to postpone.

We eloped with just our parents in a few friends. Originally we postponed our celebration to 2021, but we are now deciding weather to cancel that or move it again.

    Eff Covid.
