Love letter instead of first look?

We did and I loved reading that letter, it's something I'll keep forever! The photographer got a good pic of me reading it and tearing up.

I'm going to write FH one and I'm not telling him I'm doing it!! He's not so good with words so even if he wanted to write me something he probably couldn't find the words, so I'm excited to surprise him with it! He will ball like a little baby, I cant wait to see the pictures!

I think it's sweet, but my FH isn't a lovey-dovey kinda guy. He doesn't delve into feelings much, lol.

I write poetry, so I am going to write my FH a love poem, and I am going to give it to him on our wedding night. He'll cry, I just know he will.

I would like to do a note to each other and a first touch. I don't think I want them at the same time though. Not sure.

@GameCox that would be really special if you did them at the same time. It would make for some great photos

We did a first touch and love letter. That way you can feel them, but not see them, exchange a beautiful love note and calm your nerves all at the same time. We loved ours.

We are going to do the note thing, and then I am also going to blindfold FH and do a first look... so I can see him and we can share a moment together, but the first time he sees me will be when i am walking down the aisle

I had a card with a letter in it delivered to FH before the ceremony. Photographer took pictures while he read it. We did not do a first look and I don't regret it at all.

I know Nadine...but it would also make for some messed up make up.

We are going to write love letters! I'm sooo excited. I've already created the letterhead (below)! I wrote a draft too. I want to hand write it, and dont want to mess it up, so i will be copying from a draft

We're doing both! We're going to do love letters while we're getting ready, and we're doing a first look.

We're doing the first look for a couple reasons. 1) We have our photographer for 8 hours and we have a LOT of photos to take, so we might as well, and 2) he and I are each other's support when we're the center of attention, and it'll help us calm down. I want to do the love letter because I think it's really sweet, and not in lieu of a first look. And not for the photos either.
