Low cost hair and makeup-new Jersey

I'd look at Ulta or a local beauty college. Typical prices for makeup are usually $70-$150 depending on area for a stylist.

I'm in NJ also and I don't think you'll find make up for under $100 for the bride. This is based on my and friends' experiences. FutureMsD makes a good suggestion in looking into less traditional paths, such as current beauty college students. They will likely be cheaper as they are still starting out and building a portfolio.

Where in NJ are you? As someone who does not wear makeup at all and my girls barely do either, I could not justify spending over $100 on each service for someone to come to us. I decided to go to the salon that my sisters used for their weddings as they were affordable and do the job well. It is 40 minutes away from my venue but that drive saves way more than the other artists. Our salon is in Leonardo (Middletown) and venue in Manalapan.

Thank you for the information. I'm in central jersey, the venue is in Montclair. I agree I can't see paying someone $100-300 on a 10-15 minutes job. It's further south for us but I'll look into it.
