Low-key or extravagant proposal?

My FW proposed in our living room after dinner and it was perfect.

Very low key, just hanging out at home

It wasn’t really over the top, but we had a trip planned to Niagara Falls for my birthday with him and his sister and brother in law. Shortly after we arrived, he brought me infront of the falls and proposed to me there it was at night so the falls were all lit up and no one was really around (I’m not a big crowd person) so it was perfect

It was relatively low key! He did take me to the restaurant where we had our first date and he proposed to me outside before we went in!

Low key! He proposed on father's day since all of my family was going to be there. We were having a cookout at a nice park and he popped the question.

Low key! I told him I didn't want any photographers or anything like that because I wanted to remember the moment from my eyes and not from a photo. So he popped the question one day while we were watching TV in his room at home.

Ours was low key at home. I would've gotten engaged anywhere so long as I was marrying the person I love.

Aww, my heart! Did your FS ask your parents/your dad for permission to propose? Did anyone know that he wanted to propose to you on Fathers' Day?

More on the over the top side! He waited until our pod reached the very top on the London Eye!

Somewhere in the middle? It was on the south rim of the grand canyon which is pretty amazing, but it was just us and 2 women who he asked to take a video of us so we can get screen grabs later of the canyon and us. We do this often so it did not tip me off at all. He had told them his plan when I was somewhere else. I loved that there weren't many people around, but that we had that beautiful wonder of the world behind us.

Definitely high key! We were on vacation in Maui and we’re on a sunset dinner cruise he took me to the front of the boat we were talking just us two it was quiet and peaceful and right as the sun was setting lower he told me how much he loves and couldn’t picture life without me and popped the question ❤️

Definitely low key
We had a picnic in the park on Christmas and he asked me then. It was perfect!

He did and it made me cried even more when I found out he had asked them before he asked me. all of my family knew. It was such a memorable moment.

I’m the middle! FH proposed on the beach in Hawaii

Pretty low key. We went on a photo adventure (something we do fairly regularly) and he asked on one of the hiking trails so nobody was around. It was perfect!

These are all so wonderful to read! Ours was super low key. We go to a diner for breakfast most weekends and when we went on a trip to DC, we found a cute local diner for our last day. We were both just so content and happy to be there together, that spurred the discussion and we decided to finally get married.
