Low-key or extravagant proposal?

My FH proposed when we were relaxing and getting ready for bed. It was just us two of course, but it was perfect and very low-key

Definitely over the top which caught me completely off-guard because we are very low key people. He rented a private hot air balloon during our trip to Lake Placid. I'm terrified of heights, but my hubby likes to help push me out of my comfort zone. I was pretty scared the entire time, but the view was amazing and I bawled when he popped the question. Being up there in that setting, holding on to him so tightly really was amazing. Even though I was still terrified haha!

View Quoted Comment Just like Becca, my FH proposed in Niagara Falls. He did it at the revolving restaurant Skylon. He planned it out perfectly because the piano man called me over and played me a song, he proposed right after, and then the fireworks show started. It was perfect!

He cooked us a nice romantic dinner at home. Afterwards we went to the Reunion Tower in Dallas TX to overlook the city. He proposed to me outside as we were looking out at the city. Afterwards we traveled around at the Christmas display to look at the pretty lights (my fave thing to do is look @ Christmas lights this time of year).

Mine was low-key and perfect! He was cooking dinner when I came home, asked me to run down and get something from the car...came back up and he was on his knee asking me to marry him!! We are very lowkey people, so anything out of the ordinary probably would have tipped me off. It was perfect and we kept the secret to ourselves for a day before telling everybody! I am so excited for this July!

He proposed up in the air...2000 feet in the air.

Ours was very low key. Hanging out at home. We have been talking about it for years. He had some financial issues that had to be cleared up before we could make it official. Once that was done, it was like let's do this! We were married less than 5 months later.

He was planning on doing it like that! We had been talking about getting married, but everything was a complete surprise. It was wonderful!

It was a low-key proposal on the beach in México. We were just walking on the beach and he stopped under a tree. Then, we were engaged!

My FH proposed at Be Our Guest in Disney on my birthday. He knew it was my fav restaurant in the parks and knew it was my fav day of the year. It was perfect and fairly low key.

It was a private moment on tucked away from the crowd on a trail. So low key in tone, over-the-top in the fact that he whisked me away into the mountains for a surprise weekend getaway and had tons of activities planned beforehand.

My proposal was a little bit more over the top because all of the employees at Hollywood studios knew we were getting engaged. When we got there that day my FH slipped away while I was in Disney world shopping heaven to plan with the park for the proposal. They were super excited because people do not often propose in their park. He arranged with them for us to have a special experience after a dessert party (hint hint yet I was clueless..I thought we happened to be chosen for this experience at random 😂) as well as for a personal photographer to be there to take pictures. He then proposed during my favorite two movie scenes. It was perfect and I loved it.

Mine was super low key .... it was in his basement I was 9 months pregnant and it was Christmas last year he was giving me a back massage and he told me to sit up and that he had something for me so I sit up he hands me a pandora charm box i thought it was a pandora charm..... well it was a ring .... it was the ring his dad gave his mother when they got married

Kinda low key. He proposed at his bbq for the redskins vs cowboys game

Pretty low key. He took me to dinner and proposed at the restaurant. I didn't want anything too crazy!
