MA/CT Catering recommendation - Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park

Hi! We just got married in Mystic (Latitude 41) and have plenty of recommendations! If your interested, you can email me (******@*****.*** -no worries it doesn't have personal info tied to that email, I just use it for things like this and coupons, mostly store coupons haha). We had a Monday wedding, but can totally give you all the deets. We also planned from afar (live in FL and grew up in CT)!

The Aqua Turf Club does off-premise catering and the food/service is amazing!

ETA: you may want to open your post up to vendors. They can't advertise, but many photographers, DJs, etc. in the area can give you good recommendations of caterers they've seen!

ETA: just read your whole post. Dattco provides affordable transportation around the state. In Mystic you are close to the casinos, CT Tigers baseball (Norwich), Misquamicut beach in RI, and the Mystic Aquarium/Seaport. The Hilton Garden Inn in Preston is gorgeous and fairly affordable, but it books up quickly in the summer due to its close proximity to the casinos. It might be fun to do a rehearsal dinner at one of the nice restaurants at one of the casinos!

We're getting married at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown and are using David Alan Catering in Berlin. They are absolutely incredible and will work with your budget. We are getting an endless amount of delicious food for seriously half the price of what other caterers were quoting us.

They were awesome, work with our venue frequently and coordinated everything for the reception. They also manage things like linen and chair rentals and coordinated all of that, which made it much easier for me (we were out of state too). The food was amazing and we got great comments from multiple guests about it too. They definitely know what they're doing and handled our cake, rentals, food, set up and takedown.
