Magic Mirror Photo Booth vs Classic Style

Kristie, on September 26, 2017 at 7:19 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 8

My fiancé and I are really considering going with the Magic Mirror photo frame rather than the classic photo booth but it not enclosed and I am worried people will be uncomfortable with other watching. Does anyone have any experience with the Mirror style photo booth ?? Pros and cons would be great! For us the pros are it's fun and different and you can write on it and stuff. Cons are it's more expensive and it's open air so everyone will see you acting silly. Help! Thanks!

Once people get some drinks in them they won't care. I've seen regular open photo booths and they were always full.

The magic mirror photo booth is pretty cool. We almost went with this option, but ended up choosing an open photo booth called a selfie station. It was very similar to the mirror (touch screen photo booth, guests were able to choose from 12 backgrounds, pictures could be sent to their phones/social media/etc, and guests got unlimited 4x6 prints throughout the night.) It honestly just came down to cost for us. The mirror photo booths in our area were ridiculously priced. We basically got the same difference for 1/4 of the price.

Our guests didn't care at all that it was an open photo booth. It was full the entire night.

We just used an open air photo booth. No one thinks about who else is looking. It's just taking a picture, not a big deal.

This is what we're considering too! Mostly because I love the gold mirror and I can pick a champagne background to match my colors lol. Also because I like to be different I just want to see if I can get about $200 off before we book! What you're asking hasn't crossed my mind, I personally wouldn't care!

Magic mirror is pretty cool. I was in a wedding last year with an open air photo booth and no one was worried about acting silly

If you have it in your budget for the magic mirror it's awesome! We are going with a traditional one since I'd rather put the money elsewhere. Once they have a dew drinks it doesn't matter what it is.

The magic mirror photo booths are kind of neat. We looked into it and I kind of had sticker shock when it came to the price. If it's in your budget and you like it, do it! I wouldn't worry about people being shy, they won't be.
