Mail order gowns

Jacqueline, on August 14, 2019 at 7:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
Has anyone ordered their gown through the mail (what company) and if so were you happy with it? I’ve found some really pretty gowns but my daughter said to go try on dresses. I dislike fitting rooms lol

I’m also thinking about buying a dress online, however I am going to do like your daughter suggested and go to stores and try on dresses, at least one store. That way I know for sure the style will look good on me

I ordered mine from Wear Your Love XO. I've heard of companies offering dresses to be sent to you and you try on at home, and send back the ones you don't like.

I ordered mine from DHGate.com. I love my dress but will still need to have alterations before our wedding.

I used Azazie's Try Before You Buy option to try on a couple of gowns. Each rental is $15 (which includes return shipping) and you can try up to 3. I ultimately didn't purchase from them, but the gowns were surprisingly good quality for the price. I believe CocoMelody has begun a similar program, though I haven't tried it. I just had an appointment with their brick and mortar store in LA and the dresses were fantastic quality. I would suggest at least getting into one salon to find our your bridal size as it often differs from street sizing. That way, you'll be able to make the most of your online options.

I used cocomelody and paid extra for custom sizing. They were no where close. My saving grace was using PayPal and filing a complaint. Any place online, please use caution and do the same.

I ordered s weak dresses from BHLDN and David’s Bridal because I didn’t want to deal with the bridal shops. Returns were easy and I found my dress.

Hi Jacqueline! Have you decided to order your gown online, or do you think you will go to a store and try some on?
