Yeah.... That'd be a no for me. Seems really weird and akward. The garter toss thing is weird enough as it is.

I think it sounds fun! I would for sure laugh and get a kick out of it!

I'm highly allergic to elastic so I won't be wearing one. But my FH is wearing a kilt so we are tempted to have HIM where a garter and have me pull it off. Lol

I have seen it done before and it's hilarious. The groom caught on quickly though!

Would the groomsman take off his pants or something? You'd think as soon as the groom felt that there was no dress he'd take off the blindfold.

Friend's of ours wanted the groom to go under and pull out a giant pair of granny panties from either up his sleeve or tucked into the garter. They didn't end up doing it though.

And yeah, garter tosses are still odd in my opinion. We aren't doing one or a bouquet toss.

That would be hilarious. I think I'm going to throw this idea to our Best Man and see what he thinks. hehe!

A friend of mine did that as a joke to her DH at their wedding. It was hilarious. Not for me, because we're not doing a garter toss but it was entertaining to watch!

Ha, I thought about mentioning that no, no pants are removed. My DJ says they roll up their pants, because the groom will usually go for the ankle first, after attempting some sort of sexy dance.

Again, this only works if you have that type of groom!

We have thought about doing that because it's sooooo hilarious!!! But we might end up FH pulling out from under my dress some big granny panties and looking confused. I have seen that done before and it looks hysterical and fun. Lol

Hahaha, you ladies are hilarious! FH has no shame, so I will bring it up again, and see if he is really up for it. And if we get it to occur, there will definitely be pics posted! rofl!

That isn't my type of humor so I wouldn't think that was funny. I don't even like the garter toss in general but if you love that idea, do it! It's YOUR day!

My fh is not like that at all so what we will prob do is get a nerf ball and put the garter around it along with a gift card. This way any guy who wants to be involved can be.

If topic here but another fun thing to do fir a little game. Give the moh 5 clothes pins blind fold the groom and have the moh out the clothe pins on the bride(lol any where) and the groom has to try and find them. It was so great to watch him try and find all of them. People were giving him hints that were not even close to where they were.

Haha I've heard of this and have seen some pretty funny videos of it. It's pretty awesome! The last wedding we were at, the MC put a couple things under the bride's dress first. He had some panty hose and then a sign that said "Keep Out". It was really funny...he also tossed the panty hose and people thought it was the garter so they were all trying to go for it, one little boy caught it and was really bummed when he saw it wasn't actually the garter haha!!

That's hilarious but my FH is too shy and would easily be embarrassed if we did that lol He probably wouldn't even be open to wearing a blind fold! We might not do the garter removal/toss or bouquet toss. I haven't decided yet.
