It’s great that you have already located the vendor search tool, it’s really great for searching your area for wedding vendors. You can filter this search to what type of beauty services you want for your wedding.

If you list out what your priorities are for a hair stylist and makeup artist it will be a lot easier to narrow down your search. Are you looking for someone who can travel to your venue, or are you willing to go to a salon on the morning of your wedding? Is it just you that will need your hair and makeup done, or will your whole bridal party be getting this done too?

Once you have narrowed down some vendors based on your requirements, you will be able to check out their portfolio images and read their customer reviews to see what their work is like. You can even look them up on Instagram to see their business page and any tagged photos from other clients.

You can also book a trial for your hair and makeup if you choose so that you can see their work and suggest any changes that you would like for your wedding day.

I found mine on WW vendor search tool. I actually got 4 or 5 hits when I searched in my area. I emailed all of them for pricing. A couple of them never got back to me, so I scrapped them. Then a couple others were ridiculously expensive, so I said I'll think about it. Then the last one had pricing that I thought was much more reasonable, so I emailed a few questions. She seemed really nice, and sent me pictures of her work. She was going to have a booth at an upcoming bridal fair, so I went to that, and met her in person. We hit it off right away, so I booked a trial. It went great, so now she's my person for the wedding!
