Hi everyone!

Has anyone done their make up trials recently?

Due to COVID-19, my fiancé and I had to change our wedding plans around so we will just be having an intimate ceremony on our actual wedding date and I would like to have make up done for that. I'm scheduled to have my make up trail this Saturday, and of course due to this virus I'm nervous and overly cautious because this thing is not over yet. My MUA reassured me that she takes every and all precautions possible and that she is taking this very seriously unlike other people and will be double masked, will crack a window to get air circulation, and will have everything sanitized before and after use. In addition she does not go anywhere or do anything. Still have that anxiety and nervousness though.

Yes, my MUA wore a mask and sanitized everything.

That is natural but I had a trial and my make up done for our ceremony and she wore a mask. Maybe pop some zinc, vitamin c and d as a precaution. Girl I got a laser touch up yesterday and the tech had the nerve to take down their mask while working on my face -_-. We just have to trust that they are not spreading anything.

It sounds like your MUA is capable and ready to help you. It totally understandable to have that fear but most people in the wedding industry are very up o date on protocols and procedures for COVID. The best part is, if at any time you feel uncomfortable or feel like they are not following safety protocols, you can always ask to leave and report them.
