Kinda freaking out because I just found out that the make-up/hair stylist I hired will be 38 weeks pregnant at the time of my wedding which is ONLY 6 weeks away. She is the sweetest woman and swears up and down that there will be no issue. BUT like, really? Am I being overly dramatic or do I have cause to actually freak out?

Normally HMUA people have a backup plan just in case they cannot make it, like someone they typically refer to. You should ask her about that! Also, you could research salons in the area that do hair and makeup, and have a small list, just to be sure!

I understand your concern. Have you checked your contract? It should specify if she has a backup plan.

Agreed with PP! Most vendors should have a backup plan, especially if they are that close to giving birth.

I would be concerned as well, but would also just give her a call and ask what the backup plan is as that is so close to her due date.
