Makeup and Hair- Who Do i Pay For?

Hi Everyone! I would love some advice. My FMIL and my mother both want their hair and makeup done for our wedding. They are also both giving my Fiancè and I money towards our wedding. Should I just cover their hair and makeup with the money they gifted us? Or have them pay extra? I’m not requiring it, but they do want it done and I’m unsure of what to do since they’re contributing towards the wedding. Thanks!

    It will certainly be a nice gift if you can afford it, but I doubt they'd want you to use the money they gave for the wedding back on them. Do they want hair and make up done by the same person as you? If it wasn't a parent I'd say they pay for themselves, but parents make it hard.

    I personally am paying for my one bridesmaid and my MOH to get their hair and makeup done and invited my mother and MIL to join so I am paying for them as well. It just felt like the right thing for me to do and with the small amount of people there it was something we could afford

    Maybe the unpopular opinion but if they are the ones that want it done I don't think it's selfish to let them be the ones that pay for it 🤷🏻‍♀️.

    I agree with Ahnna, if you don't want to pay for it you don't have to since it's not required! It certainly would be a nice gesture but if they're wanting it done I doubt they're expecting it.

    I have been MOH (14 years of friendship, almost family? lol) and she didn't pay for any services for us, didn't require it, but it was available if we wanted to buy it for ourselves. Didn't take offense to it

    Generally speaking, unless you require it, then they're electing to have the service done, and it would be fine to ask them to cover their services.

    That being said, if you wanted/ are able to cover it, I'm sure it would be appreciated by both ladies.
