Is anyone else having trouble finding a makeup artist that they like? I really love the look of full on glam but it seems like none of the makeup artists I find do the look I want. They do beautiful work, but it looks too natural for me. Anyone have any recommendations?

It took me a while to find one once my hair/makeup artist went out of business, though I eventually found one on a Facebook group for local weddings. If you put a post in a Facebook group for local weddings, include an inspiration picture, your wedding date, and budget, and you should get replies from makeup artists who can do something similar!

Maybe try searching for makeup artists that don’t advertise for weddings. I think if you’re searching under wedding makeup they are more inclined to natural bridal makeup. I personally like natural style for makeup but I’m sure you can find the glam style that you wish for!

Most artists go with what their brides ask for-which is often "my face but better" (ie a more natural look).
Send them some pictures of what you're looking for and ask if they can do something similar-and DO A TRIAL RUN!!
