Makeup before dress

I’ve never seen anyone do anything besides step into a dress but if you can’t do that then amazon sells these protector masks that you zip over your head to protect your makeup and not get it on clothes.

Have someone hold the dress up and go in arms and head first. There’s no reason your face should rub the inside of the dress.

I understand your concern. I am wearing a full petticoat under my dress so I will have to put it on over my head too. I am planning to just tilt my arms more forward to prevent the dress rubbing on my face. Maybe you can have the person who will help you get dressed practice without you wearing makeup.

I second this - every dress I tried on in the store, and mine once it came in in the right size was stepped into.

O I dont think I will be able to step in mine either, that is a very good question, even trying on in the store it had to go over my head...hmm, have to think about how i will put on after hair/makeup

You should be able to avoid it rubbing your face with the help of your bridesmaids. I would definitely do make up before putting on your dress encase something gets spilled, dropped, or powder goes everywhere.

All the dresses I tried on, I stepped into, I didn't pull them over my head.

I can't imagine there being a dress that you cannot step into? Is there no zipper that makes it bigger to fit over your body? I've never seen a dress without a zipper or buttons. Interesting..

Hello... need your help. I can step on my wedding gown as it its too tight to pull it over my head coz im having a mermaid gown. The problem is i m having a peticoat that needs to be under pls help
