Makeup end time

My makeup artist just wrote saying that she has to try to be finished with our makeup by 12/12:30. There will be 8 of us total doing our makeup and she will be bringing an assistant. We’re able to get to the venue at 2:30 for the first look (it’s a 10 min drive from the hotel) Do you think that’s early to have makeup done for a 2:30 first look: 4:30 ceremony.

    You should be fine. I had my makeup finished at 12:30ish for a 5pm ceremony. If the makeup artist is good, the makeup should stay all day and night. I was scrubbing it off my face with a ton of makeup wipes.

    I agree- you should be fine. Are you getting dressed at the venue? There’s a lot of pics that need to be done before your first look.

    Thank you so much! I think I’ll be putting my dress on at the hotel. It’s only a 10 minute drive to the venue. Yeah you’re right. There will be a ton of pictures to take. Thank you!

    We started at 8am, but there were only 7 of us, plus my niece got her hair done, and we went to the salon, so we had like 4 stylists working on everyone.

    Ahhhhh thanks! Yeah there will be 8 of us and 2 people doing our makeup, she wants to start at 6A so wasn’t sure if that was too early or nog
