Thank you for all your input, Judith! I will be trying some of this, I'm just looking to nail down some idea of what I want before I see a professional for a trial run. I have very minimal experience - my mother passed when I was 4 and everything I learned about makeup application came from my dorm mates in college! Right now my focus is on healing my skin (I mentioned this in another reply, but i have a lot of breakouts on my neck and under my chin. i took a suggestion for curology while I wait for a dermatologist appointment Smiley winking ) but I intend to try a lot of this out just so I can learn a bit and, maybe, one day be able to help my daughters with theirs Smiley shame I really appreciate all your suggestions!

Any practice, keeping products you like on hand, will be useful for the occasional evening out or party, And maybe RD or a honeymoon dressup.

If you're having your makeup professionally done, definitely show them those photos you showed us and they should be able to nail it! I think false lashes are needed to achieve the look in the photos you like but you shouldn't have to worry about never having worn them since your MUA will do it for you.

You can always just practice on yourself for fun! There are so many wispy, light and natural looking false lashes; the ones on the photos are more dramatic but you can pull that look off for your wedding if you wanted to!
