How do you guys feel about makeup on your wedding day? Should I do dramatic or more natural? I do usually wear lipstick, but I’m nervous about doing my usual because I feel like I’m going to be kissing my husband all day long 💃🏼 I think I will be freaked out if I’m worried about it smudging.. Please share any pics you have in mind for yours! Makeup Trial Today! 4

I think it really depends on the theme of your wedding, your dress, and the overall look that you’re going for. If your wedding is super glam, a bolder and more glam makeup look would be appropriate. If you’re going for something simple and rustic, more natural makeup would look good. I personally feel like a full face of makeup is incomplete without a lip color, but that’s just my opinion! There are tons of no smudge lip formulas out there these days. I didn’t have any issues with my lipstick budging.

I went dramatic! I don't wear makeup more than once a month (sometimes less) but I wanted to feel super glam on my wedding day. I wore a Kylie Lipkit and it didn't come off on my husband at all, but he carried around a handkerchief just in case!

I agree with pp, i think it really will depend on how your overall look with the dress and accessories is

It depends on your look. But if you're thinking of kissing your husband that whole day, matt lipsticks are a girl's best friend! Blot with a tiny tiny bit of powder after applying and it wont smudge.

Both options are gorgeous on you!! Why don’t you do dramatic lipstick for the ceremony, then switch to a natural color or just gloss for the reception so you don’t have to worry about eating & smooching

The natural looks are really pretty up close but you’re going to be taking pictures all day and most from farther away. I would definitely go dramatic. In this pic I have a bold lipstick, lots of blush, and fake eyelashes but it looks pretty normal. I didn’t have any smudging issues. Makeup Trial Today! 6

First of all why do you look like Shakira's twin? LOL. I think your make up looks nice in the picture. As pp said it depends on you but also maybe thing what does your FH prefer? I knew I wanted a more natural look and my FH is more of a he likes me in jeans and a cute top rather than all glammed up so I wanted to do my look for him as well. Think of the look you want and as others have said too what theme is your wedding or what kind of bride do you want to be? I want a classic, romantic look.

I purchased different liquid-to-dry/long lasting lipsticks for the big day but I HATE how they feel and look. I always have at least chapstick on so the dry feeling was very off-putting. And I prefer a plump look instead of dry/dehydrated.

I'm planning on a muted red for the big day since I have red in my bouquet and don't want to look too washed out. I have seen several wedding makeup articles that say to line and fill your lips first, then apply matte lipstick in thin layers, blotting in between each new application. In theory, it'll stay on better and not transfer.

I personally prefer more neutral, but that depends on your style!

Shakira?! I’ll take it!! ❤️😂 thank you guys! I think starting off bold and switching to more natural sounds like a gray plan. Plus it will switch up my pictures +++ And I will definitely blot with powder! You guys are awesome

It's up to your comfort and preferred style for sure! I don't normally wear dramatic makeup, so I went for a more "natural" look. (And by "natural" of course I mean professional airbush makeup and false lashes!😆)

I also went for a more natural lip color - as a redhead I have a hard time finding good lip colors that don't clash! Here's my trial:

You looking stunning! That airbrushed makeup is everythingggg. Not sure if that's your natural lip color or a bit of color added but I love it!
