Makeup!

This does not look like wedding day makeup. You will need to to have heavier makeup for your pictures to avoid looking washed out, which is what it looks like in this pic. I would go heavier on your eye and keep the lip this color, it's nice and peachy. You could also pull off a darker more defined brow to frame your face.

I was going for natural since I never wear any makeup and have a more boho dress but don’t want to look washed out.. do I look washed out in the second picture as well?

I don't think you look washed out in the second photo at all. Some people are saying this doesn't look like professional makeup and that we should be able to tell there's makeup...but some people just simply don't like that. Are you going for more of a natural look because you don't wear makeup a lot? As some others have suggested, I may add some lip color and a little more blush and accentuate the eyes a bit more. But it has to match what you want and like too, so if you're going for the really natural look, then you probably won't like a heavy contour.

Hi!! First, you look beautiful. Sure to make your fiancé be taken back 😍 I would recommend a little more filling in to the brows & a brow gel to keep them sharp, and for the fake lash to be glued closer to our actual lash line!! It’s also easier to disguise if you have a thin line of black liner applied to your lash line as well. I hope this helps 🥰

The lashes are the main problem. It's apparent in both photos. I'd see if she can use the individual lashes.

Yes absolutely . Everyone has a different vision for their day, and I think with just a few changes you will be very happy! Like me, I don't love all the contouring that people do. I usually just do some liquid foundation, concealer, blush and highlighter to keep my face looking even and a little glowy and mascara. When I want to dress it up a bit, I'll add some eyeshadow and/or eyeliner. It's all about preference! You look beautiful with and without makeup, so I'm sure you'll be gorgeous on that day.

Your photographer will make sure you don't look washed out in the wedding photos so I don't think you should be concerned about that. Just make sure you can get the lashes and eyeliner figured out so you are happy with them. Let us know how your conversation with the MUA goes!



Also, FYI you are beautiful and the makeup definitely highlights that without looking overdone or caked on.

This may have already been addressed, but with makeup for photography you usually need to go a bit heavier to account for the flash/lighting washing the makeup out. You can still do a natural look, but I would recommend some more contrast to the makeup and applying a bit more.

I think you look amazing. I love the natural look. I hate when I get my makeup done. End up looking like I got it done at Home Depot, lots of spackle!

I like the light makeup look however, your brows do look off like they're not identical twins and your eyelashes aren't applied right.
