I’m struggling to find a makeup artist in my area and don’t want to keep paying for trials and not booking them. Do I book someone and possibly have to fix my makeup myself or just do it myself from the beginning?

Have you told them what you don’t like about your look and given them an opportunity to make adjustments?

Hey Hannah! I'm so sorry that you have not found a makeup artist that you like yet. How many trails have you had?

Do you have example photos of what you would like your makeup to look like?

The purpose of a trial is so that you can see what you like and dislike and then make adjustments after that. Have you expressed to any of the MUAs that you were unhappy with the look they created for you? Are there any of them that you felt would be able to do what you wanted if you game them a little bit more direction about what exactly you want?

You shouldn't have to make your own adjustments to your makeup after paying for someone to do it for you.
