Hi all my fellow brides!
I have a question about makeup/nail polish. My fiance and I are eloping on the 25th and being married in a private ceremony at a local park. I am wearing a white dress and sandals that will show my toes. We are having a few pics afterwards but I am unsure about any close-up pics of our rings/hands.
My thought is to just wear polish colors that I feel good in - not try too hard to match flowers or whatever (I will be carrying a small nosegay of periwinkle colored flowers). Below is a pic of my dress that I will be wearing, unless it doesn't fit...and no that is not me unfortunately! If this dress doesn't fit I will be wearing a different white dress but I can't find a good pic of it and I don't have it yet. Also below is a pic of the color of flower I am hoping I get; again I am not sure exactly what it will look like.
I am going to be doing my own makeup and polish probably, as I can't afford anything else. My fiance really likes red lipstick and nails, but I wonder if that would be "too much"? What about a pretty mauve?
Please weigh in on what colors you think would be pretty for a small summer wedding on an *ahem* "older" bride such as myself! Thank you in advance!
