Making your name searchable on Wedding Wire

How do you set your privacy so guests can search your name on Wedding Wire in case they don't have the exact URL for your wedding website? I keep trying to figure it out and I can't. When I search by either my name or FH on the main website it says "no results found, there are no wedding websites matching the name you entered. Check the spelling or check with the wedding couple to make sure they have not opted out of this search." As far as I know I didn't opt out to be searchable yet I can't solve on the edit side of things. I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult. Help!

I have messaged Wedding Wire for over a year about this same exact issue. Ive changed my settings from private to public and still nothing.

I've wasted at least 30 minutes tonight trying to figure out what I was doing wrong here! Glad to know I'm not alone! Super annoying when there's hours of other things I could be doing.

Exactly! It's frustrating to know I can do nothing about it, either. I'm not entirely happy with the website capabilities either but unfortunately I already wasted so much time and energy linking all our planning in one place that I'm not willing to give up and make a new website elsewhere. Oh well. I guess our website will just look subpar! Lol

@Wedding Wire Dev - Why is this happening though? I was able to find our website a few months ago, and now I cannot find any results... I'm directly instructing guests to search for us on our wedding invites, and am planning to use this for paperless RSVPs... but I might need to figure out a different option...
So frustrating!

Our way around this was putting the exact hyperlink on our save the dates.
An option for you! Or when people asked I would just send them the hyperlink via text.

Having the same issue. Of course we included the entire URL in our invitations, but most people prefer to use the search function and I've had people reach out to me saying they can't find our website. I emailed help@weddingwire.com and hope they will resolve this issue.

Hi, We`re having the same issue and unfortunately already had our wedding invites come in. I can see our website from guest point on view but not in a google search. We`re not sure what to do now because we have to get our wedding invites sent out this week..have you had any luck with customer support on here?
