Mandatory vaccines

For those that are requiring vaccines to attend, are you going off the honor system, or are you requiring people to submit proof?

We are just asking directly about their vaccination status, but not requiring proof. That seemed a little much for us, but I understand others who feel they need proof.

Still on the fence, but we're leaning towards requiring proof.

Honor system, mostly because we know our guests very well and know they got the vaccine. It felt like too much to ask for photos of the cards knowing that.

If we had a bigger guest list and were inviting certain extended family members or others we know might be anti-vaxx... would have definitely asked for proof. Times have changed and this is too important for the usual etiquette stuff.

We aren't asking for proof but the only reason for that is because our government requires people to "check in" to locations via an app to assist with tracking transmission of COVID cases and this app will double as a vaccine passport (as our guests legally will not be able to attend our wedding without being vaccinated).
