Mani and Pedi....when?

Virginia, on January 22, 2020 at 10:58 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 17

How many days before your wedding did u do this? My schedule is so full and it looks like the only time I can go is Monday and my wedding is on Thursday. This should be ok, right?

Our wedding was on a Saturday, and I got my nails done the Thursday right before the wedding.

I went the day before, but I think anything within 3-4 days is fine

Yes, a few days before wedding the Thursday before, just in case you break a nail, you have time to get it repaired.

I went the morning before with some of my bridesmaids. We then grabbed lunch. I hung with one of my bridesmaids at her Airbnb afterwards then went to the venue at 4 for rehearsal followed by dinner. I would think Monday would be fine, but I wouldn't get regular polish as that peels easier.

I wear acrylic nails so it’s a little easier than a regular manicure. But my plan is to get a fill and pedicure on Wednesday, for our Saturday wedding. I don’t run into issues in that short timeframe.

I got mine done Wednesday morning for a Saturday wedding. I'd recommend gel.

Totally depends. A basic manicure can easily chip within a few days. If you are planning gel or acrylics then that would be find for your hands. Regular pedicure would work. I would get them done day before if a regular pedicure. If I get married Sunday I would do it Saturday.

Can't go the day before. Only option is Monday but I would be getting acrylic and gel polish.

Ahhh ok then you are good lol. That is what I get and funny even two weeks later when I need a fill in people compliment my nails. Yes acrylic and gel will for sure hold. Extra $ but that gel holds up and you're talking to a clutz always bumping into something lol.

If you get a gel manicure, it should last. I got a gel mani three days before my wedding and it lasted til my honeymoon (two weeks later).

If you're really worried about chipping, buy a bottle of whatever color they use on you so you can fix/cover up any issues in an emergency.
