View Quoted Comment I’m obsessed with chrome effect with white, silver or rose gold base 😍 Gel manicure is just like any manicure, you just need LED lamp. I’ve been doing it for years by myself, for special occasions & it turns out as good as in a nail salon. For chrome effect you just need to use chrome powder in between other gel layers, so not difficult in my opinion. But I’m also doing my own makeup & making some of my own jewelry, so maybe I’m not objective 😆

I will probably do gel nails. Maybe a black ombre or crimson. But I'm also loving the natural ombre nails, even though they wouldn't fit my theme. Definitely no to the toe situation, I am super ticklish and might kick the poor soul.

We have similar tastes! I usually go with a lighter red than crimson. Red would go with everything but I always go for that so I'm gonna do something more natural or close to it. What theme are you going for?

Haha, it is really hard not to laugh and keep still when getting a pedicure done so I understand what you mean!

I did the dip. I tested out 2 months before and loved how much it lasted and my nails grew so much naturally after using this. Before when I thought I was doing gel I tested out different techniques and brands to see which one would last more.

I’m trying out different ways now before the big day in November. This here is my first one I’ve done so far. I’m only using Dipping Powder.

And since my FH and I stray to the darker side of life, we are adhering to the Halloween theme with a rustic yet gothic twist. Blacks, dark reds, oranges and dark greens.

I did these for my engagement pictures and I will probably end up doing something similar for the wedding. They’re OPI gel (color is Stop It I’m Blushing) with a rose gold French tip. My toes might be my something blue, but I haven’t decided on that front yet.
