Can anyone recommend a good site that can help me make DIY custom maps? I want to put a custom map card in my invitations. Any tips are welcome. Thanks!

Vistaprint.com maybe?

You could insert a flat note card -- and upload your own design. Depends on the size of your invites.

You can either draw a map, or take a screen shot of a map (google or map quest). One side of the card can be the map and the other can be written directions.

The prices are pretty good, paper is good quality, and they have awesome customer service.

You might want to check out WeddingMapper.com. They have step-by-step instructions on making a custom map. You could then use Vistaprint to get it copied.
