March 2021 Wedding?

Kelsey, on September 29, 2020 at 6:58 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
Anyone else supposed to get married in March 2021? 😳 We booked our venue in December 2019 just a few months before COVID hit. Right now our venue (in MD) can have up to 130 people in it but they enforce social distancing by requiring you to wear a mask while indoors unless you are sitting at a table for eating and drinking. I’m having so much anxiety planning everything because I have no idea what is going to happen in the next 6 months. If you’re getting married in March or even April next year, are you still planning your wedding as if it will happen??

My wedding is March 27, 2021 also in Maryland. I’m not stressing right now, the numbers in Maryland seem to be getting better so far. My venue is allowing me up until February to make a final decision as far as going forward, a refund or postponing.

I’m getting married April 17, 2021 as of now I am continuing to plan. I feel like I’m going to get married that day no matter what I already postponed my wedding which I’m supposed to get married October 11, 2020 and with all this craziness in New York City I had to postpone so I am crossing my fingers and praying every night that I can have my big wedding that I wanted but if I can’t I am getting married that day and no matter what can’t wait no more

I’m getting married on 4/3/21 in Mesa Arizona & am still planning as normal. Our guest list is around 85 which was our original number. Our venue hasn’t told us or even suggested to post pone. I’m keeping my hopes up!

We are getting married March 2021, we also booked right before covid started shutting everything down. We are going through with everything as planned but we are having the wedding at an outdoor venue.

Same boat here 🙋🏾‍♀️ in Maryland as well...2020 September bride but postponed until March 2021! 🎉🍾 and YES YES YES we're moving with full force. I just have an open mind and praying for the best. Our venue stated things like we'd be responsible if anyone got sick and only 3 to 4 people to a table which sucks but that was back in June. I haven't done an update with them about increasing the size since we postponed. As long as we don't get the 50% cap thing again I think we'll be fine. Just plan as much as you can while things are open and running. We could go down once winter hits but at least you have a good chunk done and ready to go for the New Year!

Thank you Michelle!! This is reassuring Smiley smile I have also been planning as if everything will be okay but I kept second guessing myself like, “am I crazy!?? Will my guests think we are crazy!!” lol

Lol no problem. They won't think your crazy either lol. We all know about Covid and how it rolls so people will prepare. Some will come, some won't but that won't stop the party!!! 🍾🥂😁 Just definitely keep pushing through!
